Home designs include the application of Universal Design features, Visitability standards and compliance with ADA and Fair Housing regulations. The development also includes Energy Star rated appliances and construction materials, Carpet Institute’s ‘Green Label’ carpet, low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) paints, caulking, sealants and adhesives, use of recycled materials and use of low-flow water saving devices.
The homes operate under a lease-purchase model, where residents have the right of first refusal to purchase their home following the tax credit compliance period.
